What is the customer service problem I solve?
Fresh baked homemade cookies still remain as one of the preferred snack items when satisfying that sweet tooth craving but with jam-packed schedules very little time exists for the prep or clean up. In addition, consumers feel better about their food selection when it's an organic, natural or healthier option without sacrificing taste. Favorable Treats cookie dough is made from scratch using our family recipe, with natural ingredients, contains zero trans-fats and has a homemade taste. They are packaged in a resealable bag in bite-sized portions allowing the consumer to enjoy a satisfying treat now and freeze the rest for later. Our pre-portioned cookie dough is conveniently packaged to enjoy baking as a family quick and mess free which leaves more time for eating and chatting.
How will you make money?
Favorable Treats currently sells fresh baked cookie gift packages through our on-line cookie store. We will market our pre-portioned frozen cookie dough to grocery retailers for resale to the end consumer.
What are your products/services?
Favorable Treats sells all-natural, made-from-scratch cookie dough. Our soft and chewy cookies create a nostalgic feeling when taking that first bite, leaving the consumer wanting to savor every bite. Favorable Treats reminds you of your favorite memories of yesterday while eating that favorite cookie.
Who is your target market?
Women between the ages of 35-55 with an annual income of $55,000/year or greater. A great majority balance parenting and full time employment. They have family or volunteer commitments outside of work so they tend to have a full schedule. They want quality over price but want to feel like their purchase is a good value. Convenience is key and will often make a first time purchase based on word of mouth from a trusted friend. They tend to be brand loyal shoppers.
Where will you sell your product?
I currently sell my cookie gift baskets on-line via my website, but I will market my cookie dough to major grocery retailers. I would also LOVE to get my cookie dough into Costco stores.
Because we are new, we have to have free samples on hand wherever we go. This helps us to gain the attention of potential customers. Social media via Facebook and Twitter has just begun. This has been a slow start, but a work in progress. Pinterest is also on the radar and will add that soon.
