Store within a store is not a new concept. JC Penney is opening Disney Stores in their stores. For the past 2 years select Bed Bath and Beyond Stores have carved out about 3,000 sq feet for a World Market food emporium. Sounds strange?
Not really. BBB has a great kitchen appliance department so having specialty foods in the store is synergistic and will add to the average sale they experience... surely some percentage of their customers will shop the World Market Section. They have recently purchased Cost Cutters World Market, which is located on the west coast.
