Jill Brack is the founder of Glow Gluten Free Cookies.
She started Glow Gluten Free in 2008 out of her kitchen shortly her daughter Stella was diagnosed with celiac disease. Jill said "At first we gave our cookies away as gifts and as more and more friends and family asked for them, we thought: What if we sold these, would people actually buy them?"
Today, Glow Gluten Free bakes four flavors of gluten free and dairy free cookies with natural and organic ingredients in a certified gluten free and kosher bakery. The secret recipe for our Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Double Chocolate and Gingersnap cookies includes nutrient dense garbanzo bean and coconut flour, which makes them wholesome and delicious.
We will be covering her:
- Journey Out of the Kitchen - New Product Development
- How She Pitched the Retail Buyer - Getting retail shelf space in a competitive environment
- How Jill gets her Cookies on the Consumers Plate - and gets them to come back for more - turning cookies into Cash!
- Her Food Marketing Strategy that helps her product positioning and gets consumers to buy

Love ya,

Great interview. And yes, marketing is important. I’d say equally as important as having an outstanding product that tastes great. The package can do the “heavy lifting” on the shelf, but if the product is marginal, all the great packaging in the world won’t gain repeat buyers.
Wishing you all the success for the new year. Nothing better than feeding our celiac children a great tasting cookie.
